Spiral

Spiral Music are the writing and production team Joe Crisp and Cliff Charles. Both Cliff and Joe came out of the London session scene of the 90's,and separately as a percussionist and guitarist recorded or toured with artists such as Misty Oldland,Curiosity Killed The Cat, Peter Gabriel, Lena Fiagbe, FatherFather, Gabrielle, China Black, Suggs and E17.

After meeting on a session, Joe and Cliff pooled their resources and experience and began to explore and develop their production and writing skills. In 2000 they formed Spiral Music and went on to produce and remix artists such as Leona Lewis, Atomic Kitten, Billie, Jamiroquai, FatbackBand, Misteeq, as well as their own 2step project - Twister.

Spiral now specialises in original bespoke music for media and have provided compositions for products such as Nike, Sony, Google, BBC, Moneysupermarket, Stongbow, French Connection, Geox, Puma, Honda, Rimmell, and many others.As well as their media projects, Joe and Cliff are also Spiral System. With their downtempo lounge-esque album 'In Your Dreams" (Interchill Records) they have received rave reviews on both sides of the Atlantic and are currently at work on their second album.
