Claire Batchelor has composed for a huge variety of projects; including BBC One’s 60 min doc ‘Gentleman Jack Changed My Life’ (directed by Sara Hardy), original music for ‘Chateau DIY’ (Channel 4), ‘The Wonderful World of Puppies’ (Zinc Media, Channel 5), 'EQUAL' for Erica Starling Productions and many independent short and feature docs.

 

Claire’s music has been used in a multitude of international programmes including BBC News, ITV News, BBC Royal Wedding coverage, Horizon, Panorama, MasterChef, Good Morning Britain, Location, Location, Location, Gogglebox, Mary Berry’s Quick Cooking, The Repair Shop, The Apprentice and Love Your Garden.

Claire has been part of the BAFTA Jury in the Original Music Category, judge for the Ivor Novello Awards Best Television Soundtrack Category and RTS West awards, was a WFTV Mentee with mentor Lorraine Heggessey and is a BAFTA Connect member. She was nominated for Best Original Score at Feel The Reel International Film Festival for her short film score “Out of Orbit”.
